No Minimums: Why One Custom Shirt Costs the Same to Make as Fifty
Share
One thing print-on-demand gets you that a traditional print shop usually can't: you don't need to order fifty of something to make it worth making.
Single Orders Get the Same Treatment
A lot of custom apparel places have a minimum order size baked into their pricing — order less than that and either it's not worth it for them, or you pay a big markup for going small. Because nothing here gets pre-produced in bulk, one shirt for one person gets built the same way a batch order does. You're not subsidizing unsold inventory sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
Where This Actually Matters
- A single custom shirt for someone's birthday or retirement
- A one-off design you just want to try before committing to anything bigger
- Small teams or groups that don't need 30+ of the same thing
None of that requires a special conversation about minimums. It's just an order, same as anything else.
